"As a psychotherapist, I am always humbled and grateful for the privilege to share in my clients' triumphs and losses, build trusting relationships, and partake in the profound transformation that comes from our work together."
My expertise is in grief, trauma, anxiety and mood disorders, and relationship issues. I have intensive clinical training and experience working with Sexual Trauma Survivors, Perinatal/Maternal Mental Health, and Obsessive-Complusive Behaviors. As an integrative therapist, I incorporate complementary healing modalities such as breathwork, guided meditation, and yoga into my practice to my clients' comfort level and curiosity.
I work with highly ambitious professionals and graduate students who are motivated for change. For clients who have complicated schedules, travel frequently for work, or live outside of NYC, I provide remote therapy services. I also enjoy working remotely with English-speakers throughout the world.
I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The professional title of Licensed Clinical Social Worker means that after earning my master's degree in social work from New York University, I completed over 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience in diagnosis, psychotherapy and assessment-based treatment planning before passing New York State's advanced-level clinical examination. Beyond my credentials, I have completed post-graduate education in Advanced Clinical Practice (NYU), Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders and Perinatal Grief & Loss with the The Postpartum Stress Center and Selini Institute, and am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention through The Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at University of Pennsylvania.
I have received certificates in a multitude of complementary therapeutic methods including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Hypnotherapy. As a certified meditation and breathwork instructor and incorporate mind-body teachings throughout my work.
My professional experience encompasses a variety of clinical settings including Planned Parenthood of NYC, New York University's Counseling & Wellness Services, and Pace University where I directed the Office of Sexual Assault Prevention & Education.
